Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Nestlé Purina’s Flagstaff plant manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food each year. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining all plant systems to ensure reliable production and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance tasks such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment, or a 2‑year technical degree.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including nights and weekends.
