Production Operator – Night Shift – $28.99/hr

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join Nestlé Purina’s Flagstaff manufacturing plant. The position works the night shift (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) and offers a starting hourly rate of $28.99. You will help produce dry pet food for brands such as Dog Chow®, Beneful®, and Pro Plan® while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supply production lines and meat‑prep stations with materials to keep operations running.
• Measure, weigh, blend and add ingredients to manual or automated systems, adjusting speeds and temperatures as needed.
• Pull samples, perform quality tests, and deliver test samples to Quality Assurance.
• Visually inspect ingredients and remove any foreign material or substandard pallets.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment, following safe chemical handling procedures.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on equipment using lock‑out/tag‑out protocols.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 + year experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing, food handling, or related environment (preferred).
• Availability to work the 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. night shift and overtime as needed.
