About the role

The Impella Pump Systems Test Engineering Co‑Op will support development and testing of heart recovery devices, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure safe and timely global deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute system‑level integration and regression test plans for the Impella Pump and System.
• Support change control and release activities by preparing verification evidence, updating BOMs, work instructions, and drawings.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing to align verification strategies and ensure compliance.
• Assist in system‑level risk assessments, CAPA investigations, design changes, and regulatory submissions.

Required profile

• Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SolidWorks or comparable CAD program (preferred).
• Strong design, testing, and analytical skills, including engineering and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
