Hybrid Premium Auditor – Insurance Audit

About the role

As a Premium Auditor you will examine the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while detecting potential fraud. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work from home and travel to audit locations several days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies.
• Prepare audit schedules and gather required documentation.
• Communicate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to arrange appointments.
• Analyze policyholder records, determine correct business classifications, and write clear operation descriptions.
• Prepare complete audit reports, explain findings to insured parties, and relay results to the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations, performing remote audits 2‑3 days per week.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, plus at least two years of premium audit experience.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General PC proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and required automobile insurance coverage.
