About the role

The HVTI International Care Coordinator manages intake and care coordination for international patients seeking treatment at the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role serves as the first point of contact, handling medical record collection, scheduling consultations, and ensuring smooth integration into care pathways.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate intake for surgical candidates, obtaining clinical information and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Facilitate continuity of care with PCPs, referring physicians, cardiology staff, surgeons, and scheduling officers.
Review clinic information with surgeons to schedule appropriate pre‑surgical tests and appointments.
Coordinate patient care between medical and surgical departments and manage hospital transfers.
Communicate care expectations to Global Patient Services and identify Physician Champions.

Required profile

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
At least 4 years of experience in medical cardiology or cardiac surgery clinical areas.
