HVAC Installer Apprentice

About the role

Logan Services is seeking an HVAC Installer Apprentice to join its Dayton team. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced Lead Installers, gaining hands‑on experience installing residential heating and cooling systems while learning the trade from seasoned professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with the installation and replacement of residential HVAC systems.
• Transport, organize, and stage tools, equipment, and materials at job sites.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling electrical components, refrigerants, and heavy equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and keep company vehicles and tools properly maintained.
• Document materials used and jobsite information accurately.

Required profile

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn from experienced HVAC professionals.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in how things work.
• Ability to work in physically demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
• Professional communication skills and respectful attitude in customers' homes.

Required skills

• Use of hand and power tools.
• Basic HVAC equipment knowledge and installation techniques.
• Understanding of safety procedures for electrical work, refrigerants, and heavy equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for HVAC systems.
