Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures HR policies are applied consistently while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new‑hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, concerns, and workplace issues.
• Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures as needed.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Support audits and reporting related to compliance and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with payroll to verify accurate compensation and deductions.
• Guide employees through benefits enrollment and address related inquiries.
• Manage leave administration, including LOA, PTO, workers’ compensation, and other time‑off requests.
• Assist managers with performance review processes and provide guidance.
• Help coordinate training and professional development programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR function.
• Proficiency in speaking Spanish (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software such as ADP and Dayforce.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
