HR Manager

About the role

Zinda Law Group is seeking an HR Manager to own and operate the firm’s people infrastructure end‑to‑end. This high‑impact position will partner with leadership to drive compliance, benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, and continuous process improvement across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) in Texas, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
• Administer employee benefits programs, lead open enrollment, and negotiate with brokers.
• Maintain and update employee handbook, policies and documentation.
• Develop, manage and track required training programs, maintain LMS records.
• Own the HRIS, guarantee data accuracy, build reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Manage onboarding workflows, background checks, I‑9 compliance.
• Oversee performance review cycles, tie reviews to compensation decisions and track related KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR compliance and benefits administration in a multi‑state environment.
• Strong ability to act as a liaison between leadership and HR systems.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on process improvement and data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for policy updates and employee education.
