HR Generalist – Full‑Time

About the role

DC Builders is looking for a highly organized HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle across multiple affiliated companies. The role combines strategic HR initiatives with day‑to‑day execution and supports employees and managers throughout the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruiting, from job posting to offer execution, ensuring a consistent hiring process.
• Serve as primary HR point of contact, providing guidance and issue resolution for employees and managers.
• Manage onboarding, training coordination, promotions, transfers and terminations while maintaining compliance.
• Develop, maintain and enforce HR policies aligned with federal, state and local laws.
• Lead employee‑relations activities, including conflict resolution, investigations and performance management.
• Administer compensation programs, benefits enrollment, and payroll processing using ADP and BambooHR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years progressive HR experience with exposure to multiple HR functions.
• Experience working as a “HR department of one” and supporting multi‑state or multi‑entity organizations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Hands‑on payroll experience using ADP, BambooHR or similar systems.
• Proficiency with HRIS, ATS and benefits administration platforms (BambooHR, ADP Workforce).
