HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner supports Gerdau's Tampa corporate office, partnering with leaders to deliver an excellent employee experience and strengthen culture. You will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence and the HR Manager to drive recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment by interviewing finalists, creating offer letters, and managing onboarding paperwork.
• Organize employee engagement activities and participate in related teams (Social Responsibility, Well‑Being).
• Coordinate internal communications about programs, policies, and company objectives.
• Assist with training needs, career and succession planning, and performance management processes.
• Administer compensation and benefits, ensure policy compliance, and handle employee inquiries.
• Maintain accurate employee records, manage HRIS data, and ensure confidentiality.
• Counsel leaders on employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and mediate conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and compensation.
• Knowledge of HR administration principles and federal/state employment regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP certification preferred.
