Hotel Room Attendant – Greenville

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Candlewood in Greenville. The role focuses on delivering clean and welcoming guest rooms while upholding the hotel’s standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and turn vacant rooms to ready status and maintain occupied rooms to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping cart, linens, and supplies, ensuring proper organization and inventory.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
• Assist guests with requests and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lounges, locker rooms, stairwells, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items according to hotel procedures.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a branded, quality hotel (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professionalism, honesty, and strong attendance record.
• Ability to stand for eight hours, lift/push 60 lb, and carry 30 lb.
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of proper linen handling, room sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Understanding of safety and security measures in a hotel environment.
