Hotel House Person – Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Hotel House Person ensures that all public areas of the hotel are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. Working closely with the housekeeping team, this role supports daily operations and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and meeting spaces to hotel standards.
• Deliver and retrieve linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment for housekeeping staff.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for extra supplies or amenities.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping storage areas and carts.
• Restock supplies in public restrooms and other designated locations.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with special projects, deep‑cleaning tasks, and event support as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills – respond to guest needs promptly and courteously.
• Willingness to follow health, safety, and PPE guidelines.
• Reliability in reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
