Hospital Security Account Manager

About the role

Allied Universal, a global security and facility services company, is hiring a Hospital Security Account Manager in Bakersfield, California. The Account Manager leads daily security operations, guides and develops a team of security officers and supervisors, and acts as the main point of contact for clients. Management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scheduling with AI-powered tools, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
• Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance and employee relations
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure high-quality service
• Respond to escalated incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams
• Oversee training, safety and site operational standards, and manage inventory of uniforms, equipment and supplies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience in business operations, security management or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading, developing and retaining a team while building client relationships
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments and law enforcement coordination
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or personal vehicle while conducting business
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local laws

Required skills

• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
• Effective communication with clients and employees while managing multiple projects
• Financial acumen: managing staffing levels, turnover costs and inventory costs

PREFERRED: college degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field; law enforcement, military or contract security experience; ASIS CPP certification; payroll, billing or scheduling experience; CCTV, access control and badge administration aptitude; graduate of a certified public safety academy.

• Salary range of $83,200 to $99,611.20 per year
