Hematology Oncology Registered Nurse

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the G70 Hematology Oncology unit. The RN will work on a day/night rotation providing high‑quality care to adult patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and radiation treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and update patient care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation therapies.
• Document patient status, communicate changes to the care team, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and post‑discharge care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and handle physical demands of the unit.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Competence in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of reactions.
