Hedge Fund Distribution Associate

About the role

The Associate will join the Hedge Fund Distribution team, providing equity financing and securities‑lending coverage to hedge‑fund clients across cash and swap markets. The role focuses on international markets and requires close coordination with regional desks worldwide to deliver a seamless global client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deepen strategic relationships with hedge‑fund clients from onboarding through product and market expansion.
• Identify and implement cash prime brokerage and swap financing solutions across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Provide securities‑lending expertise, including locate approvals, short‑interest estimates, and rate management.
• Monitor short‑interest and borrow trends at security, sector, and market levels.
• Promote cash prime brokerage and swap capabilities across more than 50 markets.
• Advise on market access, documentation, financing efficiencies, and trading across cash and swap.
• Collaborate with sales and functional partners to deliver full‑service coverage and uncover new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a client‑facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in extracting data from MIS reporting and using AI tools to produce insightful commentary.
• Ability to process large volumes of information and manage flows in a fast‑paced environment.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 certifications.
