About the role
Crofton is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of company equipment, including vehicles, cranes, boats, and trailers. The role involves both on‑site and shop work in a dynamic marine construction environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform small engine, gasoline, diesel, and boat repairs on company equipment.
- Maintain the shop, tools, and equipment used for repairs.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections.
- Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of mechanic experience, preferably in construction.
- Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and small‑engine repair.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5–7 years of overall mechanic experience, with at least 2 years in marine construction desired.
