Healthcare Technical Consultant – Central Florida

About the role

Launch your career as a Technical Consultant in Philips’ Hospital Patient Monitoring business, providing hands‑on installation and support of advanced patient monitoring solutions across Central Florida. You will work directly with customers to ensure reliable system performance and improve patient care outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote technical support, quickly responding to customer issues to minimize clinical workflow disruption.
• Support the full lifecycle of complex patient monitoring and IT infrastructure solutions, including installation, configuration, integration and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve system, network and application issues using structured troubleshooting methods and approved tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, troubleshooting activities and support procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, clinical partners, sales and service teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• At least 2.5 years of professional experience in IT services or a hospital‑based healthcare environment.
• Associate degree in computer science, biomedical engineering or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75 % of the time across Central Florida, including occasional overnight stays.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including non‑standard shifts, overtime and on‑call rotations.

Required skills

• CompTIA Network+ certification (or equivalent).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking concepts and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators and defibrillators.
