Healthcare Operations & Process Improvement Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing healthcare organization focused on diagnostic testing and medical services, is seeking a seasoned Operations & Process Improvement Manager to build the operational infrastructure needed for the next stage of growth. This newly created, in‑office role in Atlanta will evaluate current processes, design scalable solutions, and partner directly with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop SOPs, process maps, and operational playbooks.
• Implement technology improvements, automate manual tasks, and enhance use of Google Workspace and reporting tools.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, define clear ownership, approval processes, and departmental handoffs.
• Provide regular performance reporting, manage operational risks, and support change‑management initiatives.
• Grow the operations team, set performance expectations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive experience in operations, process improvement, or project management.
• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑influence skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Project‑management software and operational reporting tools.
