Healthcare Integrations Architect

About the role

Join Sierra’s Healthcare team to design and deliver integrations that align with real healthcare workflows. You will translate customer requirements into clear interface, data‑flow, and EHR configuration recommendations, ensuring smooth implementation and go‑live readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrations based on customer requirements, defining interfaces, data flows, and EHR configuration.
• Resolve EHR complexity by working with analysts, vendors, and engineers to troubleshoot integration blockers.
• Guide customers through go‑live readiness, including application registration, access provisioning, and workflow testing.
• Partner with Sales and Agent Development to assess feasibility and scope integration projects.
• Shape the integration roadmap by evaluating vendor capabilities and recommending reusable platform components.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation.
• Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem (e.g., Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH).
• Practical knowledge of patient‑access workflows such as scheduling, registration, or referral management.
• Proven track record of taking third‑party integrations through deployment and go‑live.
• Strong communication and independent judgment to lead discovery and translate requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with FHIR, HL7v2, vendor APIs, and file‑based exchange.
• SQL scripting and data investigation.
• Programming in TypeScript, Go, or Python.
• Hands‑on integration development and testing.
