Head of Residential Capital Markets

About the role

Lead the creation of institutional capital infrastructure for a fragmented residential real‑estate credit market. You will define the product, underwriting framework, data standards, pricing logic, and investor materials needed to make this asset class investable at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Translate institutional investor requirements into a product, underwriting framework, data standards, eligibility criteria, and operating controls.
• Establish forward‑flow, whole‑loan, structured credit, warehouse, private credit, or securitization relationships that meet those standards.
• Own structuring, pricing, risk logic, and investor‑facing explanations to satisfy institutional investment committees.
• Partner with senior leadership on market design, capital formation, product strategy, and execution.
• Define data, reporting, controls, and monitoring standards required for investor comfort.

Required profile

• Deep experience in structured credit, structured products, or institutional capital markets.
• Strong market awareness, risk and pricing judgment, and ability to translate investor needs into concrete product and data requirements.
• Proven track record of building or materially shaping a credit product or platform without a mature playbook.
• Comfort operating in a lean, high‑ownership environment with senior executive stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with sophisticated capital and executive audiences.

What we offer

• Base salary of $250,000 per year.
• On‑target total cash compensation of $500,000 per year.
• Equity participation.
