Head of Business Development

About the role

Ataraxis AI is a clinical AI research lab focused on multi‑modal AI and precision medicine. As Head of Business Development, you will create and lead the pharma partnership business, turning our validated AI models into revenue‑generating collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target pharmaceutical companies, map decision‑makers, conduct outreach, and negotiate contracts to signature.
• Design novel applications of Ataraxis’s technology for each partner’s drug development pipeline and translate concepts for scientific, clinical, and business audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharma sponsors and funding partners.
• Communicate pharma priorities and unmet needs back to research, product, and clinical teams.
• Collaborate with research, legal, and product groups to define scope, structure terms, and finalize agreements.
• Partner directly with the CEO on pipeline forecasting and deal strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics business development.
• Proven track record of building partnerships and closing high‑value deals.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize ruthlessly.
