About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position focuses on the PLG funnel at CodeRabbit. You will own experimentation across acquisition, activation, and conversion, driving measurable improvements in onboarding completion and trial‑to‑paid conversion. The role does not involve people management; influence is exercised through data, experiments, and cross‑functional partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end PLG funnel: activation, onboarding completion, trial‑to‑paid conversion, and expansion across web, CLI, and VS Code.
• Identify high‑leverage drop‑off points through funnel analysis and design experiments to fix them.
• Run a continuous experimentation program: hypothesis formulation, instrumentation, A/B testing, and clear result reporting.
• Optimize distinct user experiences for web sign‑up, CLI authentication, and VS Code activation.
• Partner with engineering to instrument events so every funnel step is measurable.
• Define and own North Star and input metrics, communicating trade‑offs to leadership.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of product management experience with a focus on growth or PLG funnels.
• Proven record of measurable funnel improvements (conversion lift, activation gains, retention).
• Strong quantitative instinct; comfortable with SQL and analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
• Rigorous experimentation mindset, respecting sample size and statistical significance.
• Excellent written communication and ability to drive cross‑functional work without direct authority.
