Growth & Marketing Lead (Founding Role)

About the role

Petra Labs is looking for its first dedicated Growth & Marketing leader. You will own the entire go‑to‑market engine, creating demand, educating a nascent market, and building the pipeline that will scale the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute outbound campaigns targeting enterprise marketing leaders (VPs/CMOs) across untapped verticals.
• Develop lead‑qualification frameworks to ensure precise targeting and high conversion.
• Create and optimise landing pages, email sequences and paid‑media campaigns.
• Track, analyse and report on funnel metrics from awareness to qualified opportunity.
• Produce market‑educating content (blogs, LinkedIn posts, case studies, data reports) that positions Petra Labs as the authority in AI search optimisation.
• Support founders with ghost‑written thought‑leadership pieces and social strategy.
• Set up and manage CRM, email automation and analytics infrastructure.
• Run rapid experiments across channels, messaging and audiences, building repeatable playbooks and retiring ineffective tactics.
• Manage marketing budget and ROI tracking.

Required profile

• Sharp, resourceful and able to learn new tools or channels quickly.
• Growth‑minded with a systems‑thinking approach to funnels and feedback loops.
• Strong writer who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling language for senior marketers.
• Analytical, data‑driven and comfortable measuring conversion rates, CAC and pipeline velocity.
• Self‑directed, capable of writing the playbook without a pre‑existing one.
• Highly motivated to join an early‑stage, equity‑rich founding team.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms and email automation tools.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting dashboards.
• Ability to craft landing pages, email sequences and paid‑media assets.
