Groundskeeper/Porter for The Bricks at Perimeter Center

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the physical appearance and safety of The Bricks at Perimeter Center community. This role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and grounds clean, orderly, and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining community standards.
• Good communication skills to interact respectfully with residents and team members.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and report hazards.
