Groundskeeper / Porter – Yardly Elm

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Yardly Elm community. The role involves daily inspection of common areas, handling trash removal, supporting make‑ready processes, and ensuring all amenities meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features comply with codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high curb‑appeal standards.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license for golf‑cart operation.
