Groundskeeper for The Parson Community

About the role

The Parson community seeks a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the physical appearance and safety of common areas, amenities, and overall curb appeal. This role supports the service team and ensures a clean, welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep all common areas tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist make‑ready specialists, and change locks per property policy.
• Ensure pool gates function according to safety codes and distribute resident notices as needed.
• Report hazards, respond to resident inquiries, and uphold Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on call as needed.
