Groundskeeper for Community Property

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the community’s exterior spaces, amenities, and overall curb appeal are maintained to Greystar’s standards. This role supports the service team and contributes to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, pet droppings, and ensuring amenities are tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist with make‑ready turnover, and change locks per property policy.
• Distribute resident notices, report hazards, and respond to resident questions and complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report accidents promptly.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and be on call as needed.

Required skills

• Basic lock‑changing procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and risk‑management policies.
