Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all grounds and facility maintenance activities at the Piketon, Ohio site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise and manage maintenance personnel, including staffing and performance management.
• Oversee all grounds maintenance tasks, ensuring personnel have the necessary information, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security, and environmental policies, and communicate safety awareness.
• Operate maintenance equipment, including vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Use CMMS (SOMAX) to record daily maintenance data and maintain required licenses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least five years of related experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in grounds, construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, excavation, or safety work is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance, ODNR Trapping License, and Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator License.

Required skills

• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and Adobe.
• Experience using the SOMAX CMMS system.
• Ability to operate typical grounds and facility maintenance equipment.
