About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to work the night shift, providing daily assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role runs from 11 pm to 9 am, Wednesday through Saturday, in a supportive residential environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Address medical and behavioral needs, ensuring appropriate care.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention when required.
- Follow all policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a State of Oregon background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working under pressure and handling challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
