Golf Course Superintendent

About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Front Royal is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead agronomy, course maintenance, and grounds operations. This senior leadership position ensures top‑notch turf quality and aligns course conditions with the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including irrigation, fertilization, mowing, and pest control.
• Develop and execute annual maintenance plans, budgets, and capital improvement projects.
• Lead, train, and manage the grounds team, including hiring and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor services.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to support events and guest experiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of golf course maintenance experience, including superintendent or assistant superintendent roles.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, labor, and operational costs.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a pesticide applicator license.
