Global Product Strategy & Management Director, Automotive Electronics Solutions

About the role

The Global Product Strategy & Management Director for Automotive Electronics Solutions will lead the worldwide portfolio strategy, driving growth across emerging vehicle technologies and ensuring successful product commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global portfolio strategy for automotive electronics, covering E/E architectures, software‑defined vehicles, connectivity, electrification, thermal management and emerging technologies.
• Lead portfolio investment, innovation and commercialization plans to accelerate new product introductions and expand specification positions with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis and technology trend assessments to set strategic priorities and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with global automotive OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure successful product launches and operational readiness.
• Lead, mentor and develop a global team of Product Managers, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree such as MBA is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in automotive electronics, electrical architecture or related automotive technologies.
• Minimum 5 years leading global or regional teams and influencing cross‑functional organizations.
• Proven track record of developing and executing portfolio growth strategies and new product introductions.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in automotive electronics, including vehicle E/E architectures, software‑defined vehicles, connectivity, electrification and thermal management.
• Strong market and customer orientation with ability to translate insights into strategic investments.
• Experience managing complex global business portfolios and making investment, lifecycle and resource allocation decisions.
