Gift Card Sales Analyst

About the role

The Analyst, Gift Card Sales turns sales, customer, financial and operational data into actionable insights for The Home Depot's gift card portfolio. The role builds reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, forecasting inputs and profitability analyses, identifies trends, risks and opportunities, and partners with management and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business decisions. It reports to the Manager, Gift Cards, with no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with gift card vendors, aggregators, distribution partners, B2B sales partners and internal teams to resolve customer, partner and operational issues, support account follow-up and escalate complex issues with clear facts and options.
• Support cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, customer experience, vendor performance and program profitability, including root-cause analysis, process documentation and coordination with Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, IT and Merchandising.
• Prepare recurring sales reporting, KPI tracking and ad hoc analysis, help set up the annual marketing budget across channels, and run profitability models with data analytics teams.
• Gather and synthesize market, competitor and channel intelligence for leadership review.

Required profile

• Able to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources to solve moderately complex business, customer or operational issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, quantitative and financial acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Must be 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to build clear reporting, analysis and written communication.
• Preferred: presentation software such as PowerPoint, sales reporting, KPI tracking, forecasting inputs, dashboards and profitability analysis.
• A plus: Microsoft and Google AI tools (e.g. Notebook LM), SQL and Tableau.
