GenAI Engineer – US locations

About the role

Infosys Topaz is looking for a GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize generative AI solutions across several US locations, including Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Raleigh and Richardson. You will work with cutting‑edge AI technologies, collaborate with industry experts and contribute to projects that drive business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform and prepare data from various sources, ensuring quality for model development.
• Develop statistical and machine‑learning models, including deep‑learning and large language models (LLMs), using tools such as SAS, R and Python.
• Test, validate and select the best‑performing algorithms based on business and statistical metrics.
• Operationalize models into analytics tools or scripts and monitor their performance.
• Define analytics problems, create visualisations, and support predictive modelling with senior guidance.
• Identify data sources from RDBMS, develop UI/UX components for client consumption, and flag any compliance or risk issues.

Required profile

• Experience in data extraction, transformation, and preparation for AI projects.
• Proven ability to develop, test and validate machine‑learning and deep‑learning models.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, predictive modelling and working with senior data‑science teams.
• Comfort with handling data quality issues and ensuring model compliance.
