Gas Engineer – Social Housing (Permanent)

About the role
We are seeking a Gas Engineer to join a social housing provider in Boston, East Midlands on a permanent basis. The role involves maintaining and improving gas services across tenanted and void properties while ensuring safety and tenant satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Work within tenanted and void social housing properties.
- Carry out repairs, renewals, installations and safety checks on gas systems.
- Ensure tenant satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with the compliance team to guarantee safe work practices.
- Use a PDA to record work and complete required paperwork.
Required profile
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Relevant gas tickets: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Gas & Plumbing.
Required skills
- CCN1 certification.
- CENWAT certification.
- CKR1 certification.
- HTR1 certification.
- CPA1 certification.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Gas & Plumbing.
- Proficiency in using a PDA for job recording.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £42,000 – £43,000 per year.
