Full‑Time Clinical Dietitian

About the role

Citizens Health is seeking a full‑time Clinical Dietitian to join its multidisciplinary team in Colby, Kansas. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient nutrition services and ensures high standards in the Food Service Department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and diet education as ordered by physicians.
• Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, interviews, and education for inpatients.
• Train food‑service staff and evaluate food‑service systems, making recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain records, write reports, and ensure quality‑assurance compliance.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited university with a degree in Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian (or registration‑eligible) licensed to practice in Kansas.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.

Required skills

• Skill in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports.
• Skill in developing and maintaining department quality‑assurance processes.
