Full-Time Recruiter – Healthcare

About the role

Forest View Hospital, a 108‑bed psychiatric facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to manage the full life‑cycle hiring process for a variety of clinical and support positions. The role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the offer stage while supporting the hospital’s growth and talent needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end recruiting and staffing services for assigned positions.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies and action plans to fill open roles efficiently.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, cold calls, and other channels.
• Conduct phone and in‑person interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and perform reference checks.
• Prepare salary offer recommendations and communicate offers to candidates.
• Represent the hospital at on‑campus job fairs, interview days, and information sessions.
• Maintain regular communication with HR leadership and hiring managers.
• Liaise with temporary and consulting agencies and support recruitment projects and metric reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruiting, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral‑health setting.
• Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and external agencies.
• Experience representing an organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
• Comfort with recruitment metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
