About the role

This position delivers ionizing radiation treatments to oncology patients in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription. The therapist maintains accurate treatment records, coordinates exams, and monitors patients for adverse reactions throughout therapy.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer radiation therapy according to physician orders and document treatment details.
  • Perform daily machine quality assurance, weekly chart checks, and equipment quality control.
  • Schedule and manage patient treatment sessions, including simulations for field changes.
  • Process billing for treated patients on a daily basis.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
  • ARRT registration and state licensure within 90 days of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Windows‑based computer applications and data entry.
  • Knowledge of radiation therapy equipment operation and quality assurance procedures.
