Full-Time Food Service Worker

About the role

Join Restaurant Associates as a Food Service Worker on the 5th floor of 20 Hudson Yards. You will be part of a high‑volume kitchen team that prepares, presents, and serves food to customers in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store food following wrapping, dating, rotation, and safety procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain sanitation standards.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, handling any concerns promptly.
• Adhere to company service standards, inventory controls, and cash handling procedures.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a high‑volume food service environment is preferred.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM with open availability.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
