Full-Time Child Care Teacher

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Child Care Teacher for its Little Minnows Learning Center in Kingman. The teacher will lead a classroom, create a safe and engaging environment, and support each child’s developmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and activities that foster learning and exploration.
• Monitor children’s safety through regular head counts and promptly report injuries, illnesses, or any safety concerns.
• Observe, document, and support children’s progress, developmental assessments, and social‑emotional growth.
• Maintain accurate attendance, incident reports, and developmental records using approved systems.
• Ensure a clean, sanitary classroom by following health and sanitation procedures and managing supplies, toys, and equipment.
• Coach Assistant Childcare Teachers, attend required trainings, and adhere to the chain of command.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Minimum age 21; at least one year of childcare experience preferred.
• Basic First Aid and CPR (Child and Infant) certification; Heartsaver or BLS certification.
• Completion of 24‑hour Arizona Registry‑approved early childhood education training.
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Knowledge of Arizona Licensing Regulations, DES requirements, and developmentally appropriate practices.
