Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

iHeartMedia, the largest audio company in America, is hiring a full stack engineer for a virtual position. The role mixes technical design, individual contribution and thorough testing, working on front-end interfaces and back-end microservices and data stores. Key responsibilities

• Work with independent technology teams using the agile methodology
• Build interactive, intuitive UIs and scalable front-end applications
• Contribute to robust APIs that pull from graph and relational databases
• Plan, execute and ship business-critical projects with the product team
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and take part in code reviews
• Take part in hack-a-thons and ship work you are proud of

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS or equivalent experience
• 2.5+ years designing and building customer-facing web applications
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL queries in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, and unit and integration tests
• Git and GitHub, including pull request workflows
• Strong communication, teamwork and analytical skills

Required skills

• At least one statically typed language (Java, C++, Golang)
• JavaScript and a frontend framework (React, Vue, AngularJS)
• HTML5, CSS, Node.js
• Bonus: GraphQL, Apollo, NPM/Webpack, Python, TypeScript, AWS, microservices, Neo4j, CI/CD, JIRA, Kafka, Hive, Spark

What we offer

• Salary of $105,800 - $132,250, depending on experience and qualifications
