Forklift Operator – 1st Shift

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our Savannah, GA warehouse on the 1st shift. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, ensuring accuracy against manifests, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers.
• Perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting.
• Identify and document overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Operate warehouse equipment safely in compliance with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a tidy and secure work area and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted and perform frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
