Forklift Mechanic – Full-time, $31-$34/hr

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a full-time Forklift Mechanic to join its Colonial Heights, VA Service Center. The role involves rebuilding, repairing and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild and maintain industrial forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including creating repair work orders.

Required profile

• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• At least three years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Experience with electric and manual pallet jack repair and maintenance.
• Aerial lift repair experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lb and work in a fast‑paced, self‑motivated environment.
