Fork Truck Driver

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Fork Truck Driver for its industrial maintenance team in Greenville, SC. Hours may vary depending on business demand. The position involves moving materials around the facility and handling warehouse items, and requires various shifts, weekends and alternative schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, ship and receive warehouse items.
• Transport materials between locations inside and outside the facility.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain professional relations with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Take part in safety meetings and follow Amentum's safety work practices.
• Report MHE-related concerns to colleagues and management.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager, supervisor or lead.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and climb ladders and stairs repeatedly during a shift.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stretch and reach repetitively, and to walk extensively through the plant.
• Ability to wear steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and hard hats, and to use a company-approved utility knife.
• Valid driver's license may be required; no sponsorship for U.S. work authorization is offered.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or trade school certification in Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Technology or a related program.
