Foot and Ankle Sales Associate - Boston, MA

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Foot & Ankle Sales Associate for the Boston area. This is a field-based position working alongside the Sales Representatives in the territory, learning the medical device industry and the Foot & Ankle business before helping grow it. The role involves attending surgeries, educating clinicians and supporting the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Attend surgeries where Stryker Foot & Ankle products are used, ensuring products are available and instructing surgeons on product use.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on product use, maintenance, updates and portfolio changes.
• Identify sales opportunities with the Sales Representative, develop responses to new prospects and build customer relationships.
• Tailor promotional messages after product training, advise on product selection and answer questions about functionality and competition.
• Perform field calls, help implement new sales plans and marketing strategies, and meet or exceed business targets.
• Act as the primary backup contact for the Sales Representative and support inventory management, purchase orders and invoicing.
• Stay current on industry, customer and competitive trends, attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular hours, and follow AdvaMed compliance and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree or medical certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) plus at least 2 years of professional or related experience.
• High school diploma plus at least 4 years of professional or related experience.
• 4+ years of active duty military service.
• Basic understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance issues.

What we offer

• Base salary and draw of $65,000-$75,000, with possible commission, bonuses and benefits.
• 50% travel percentage.
