Food Safety and Quality Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Food Safety & Quality Specialist to join Mighty Spark’s Food Safety Quality and R&D team in Minneapolis. The specialist will lead product control processes with co‑manufacturing partners to ensure our chicken snack products meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update product specifications and conduct micro‑testing, inspections, and validation activities.
• Implement and manage quality improvement initiatives to boost product consistency and consumer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present internal and partner reports on product quality performance and consumer feedback trends.
• Conduct regular product reviews, monitor complaints, and escalate trends or issues as needed.
• Collaborate with co‑manufacturers to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Deep understanding of food safety and quality principles within the consumer‑products space.
• Experience working with co‑manufacturing partners and managing product control processes.
