Fluid Management Site Technician (Second Shift)

About the role

Brenntag's Fluid Management & Engineering Services supports aerospace, automotive, medical, precision bearing and defense industries by monitoring and maintaining metalworking fluids such as coolants, cutting oils, cleaners, rust preventatives and lubricants. The company also helps customers with the manufacture of jet engines, helicopters and airplane landing gear. The employer is looking for a second-shift technician working 40-45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fluid sampling for concentration control using a refractometer and titration
• Maintain the Fluid Management Dashboard and communicate findings and recommendations to the customer management team
• Communicate fluid recharges to the maintenance team lead and coordinate fluid changeouts with them
• Manage inventory, purchase fluids and provide metalworking concentrates to customers
• Monitor lubricant additions, maintain fluids and lubricant storage areas

Required profile

• Hard-working, follows directions, works well with others and independently, and manages detail
• Experience handling metalworking/manufacturing fluids and/or machine lubricants preferred but not required
• No electrical or hydraulic knowledge or experience required
• Must be a US citizen, pass a background/security check and drug test
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
