Fitness Floor Staff

About the role

The Fitness Center Concierge supports the member experience by delivering exemplary customer service and maintaining safety and cleanliness of the fitness facilities. This part‑time position reports to the Healthy Living Director.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome members, guide them to equipment, and communicate usage, distancing, mask, and cleaning expectations.
• Ensure cleaning products are stocked, clean high‑touch areas and equipment between sessions.
• Monitor room capacity, traffic flow, and physical distancing; notify members when 10 minutes remain in their session.
• Activate the Emergency Response Plan for medical or other emergencies and report to branch leadership.
• Communicate member and staff concerns, safety infractions, and facility issues at shift end.
• Work flexible opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Fitness floor or customer‑service experience.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Pass a CORI/SORI background check.

Required skills

• Ability to physically interact with members and staff.
• Capability to handle cleaning supplies, PPE, and lift up to 50 lb.
