About the role
The Fiscal Support Analyst provides essential financial support to the Department of Facilities Management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This role ensures accurate processing of accounting transactions, compliance with university purchasing policies, and timely financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Process receiving entries, approve and allocate purchases in Workday.
- Verify receipts, forward them to Accounts Payable, and resolve vendor invoice issues.
- Create and manage requisitions, procurement authorizations, and purchase orders following state and university guidelines.
- Maintain and close purchase order files, distribute charges to appropriate cost centers.
- Process travel requests and claims, and assist with travel-related documentation.
- Support the Business Director with financial reports, budget preparation, and cost‑center reconciliations.
- Ensure all activities comply with GAAP, state and federal regulations, and institutional policies.
Required profile
- Experience processing accounting tasks and purchase orders in Workday.
- Familiarity with university purchasing guidelines and GAAP principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial documents.
