Finance Transformation Consultant – Senior Manager, Finance Operations

About the role

Join PwC’s Financial Operations practice as a senior manager and help leading organisations redesign their finance functions. You will work closely with CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers to improve control standards, streamline back‑office processes and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead transformation initiatives across core finance cycles such as procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash and record‑to‑report.
• Analyze complex financial issues and optimise transaction processing, financial close, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior team members while upholding rigorous quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, translating strategic objectives into practical solutions.
• Drive the adoption of technology and efficient resource use to reduce operational complexity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance‑transformation projects at a senior‑manager level.
• Ability to craft clear, impactful messages and tell a holistic story.
• Strong systems‑thinking skills to identify underlying problems and opportunities.
• Demonstrated coaching and leadership capabilities in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments.
• Commitment to professional standards, firm code of conduct and independence requirements.
