Finance Product Specialist – Full‑Time or Part‑Time

About the role

Endex is building an AI‑native financial coworker that lives inside Excel. As a Finance Product Specialist you will ensure the platform delivers accurate, industry‑standard analysis for a wide range of financial workflows, either part‑time (hybrid) or full‑time (on‑site) in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Validate output quality by rigorously testing model‑generated financial results for correctness, edge cases, and domain consistency.
• Investigate errors, diagnose failure modes, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Translate real‑world finance intuition into product heuristics, rules, or guardrails for model behavior.
• Influence roadmap priorities by recommending development focus areas such as sector specialization, comparables, or forecasting logic.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to align metrics, trade‑offs, and user experience.

Required profile

• Professional experience in investment banking, private equity, sell‑side research, public‑markets investing, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Strong conviction about what constitutes high‑quality financial analysis and the ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Passion for bridging domain expertise with technical product design.
• Comfort working in an early‑stage, high‑ambiguity environment and shaping AI use in finance.
